Our vineyard contains approx. 60 000 grapevines and our cellar capacity is currently 80 000 litres. Our main goal is to increase our production and storage capacities. Right next to the vineyard are the cellars where all the grape is processed and stored after. This year we have also adapted our cellar and built a wine tasting room. The doors to our establishment are finally open to any curious visitors eager to taste some delicious wine from one of the biggest vineyards in middle Istria. Cheers!
Malvasia is the common name for numerous sorts of grape which have been produced in the Mediterranean area since the ancient times. Malvasia wine, produced from those sorts, was named after them. Malvasia has a nice yellow colour and depending on the process, it may vary from almost straw- like to golden yellow. It contains approximately 11,5 – 13,5% alc./vol. which makes it a medium- strong/strong wine. Subtle apple, plum and apricot aromas are characteristic for this sort and in the ripe phase, an almond aroma is noticable.
Cabernet Sauvignon is one of the most famous red grape sorts. It was first created by combining Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon Blanc. Cabernet Sauvignon, a ruby red wine is produced from this sort. It contains 10% alc./vol. in the rosé version and 12,5% alc./vol. in the red. Cabernet Sauvignon has a very bold, black currant-like aroma. The taste is rich, dry and very well- balanced which makes it perfect alongside darker meat, venison, lasagne and aromatic cheese.
Yellow Muscat belongs to the prominent family of Muscat grape. Muscat is the common name for all sorts of grape with a characteristic muscat aroma. Muscat sorts are more common in the south where they achieve remarkable results. Yellow Muscat has a light greenish-yellow colour and a dominant muscat aroma. It can be produced as a light, dry wine as well as a strong, aromatic one. It goes perfectly with cakes and pastries.
Rosé Cabernet Sauvignon is a fragnant, ruby-red wine with a specific taste with hints of green pepper, cherries, black currant and pepper. This wine is unique because of its enhanced acidity as a result of not being stored in a barrel during its maturation.
